Points of Light
A new art piece has been installed in the Downtown Pedestrian Pathway in El Paso, Texas. “Points of Light” uses to dynamic lighting, shapes, and colors to engage visitors. Designed by by local artist Stephen Ingle, the installation consists of three, six-foot piñata-inspired metal sculptures underneath the Durango Bridge. The piñatas will project shapes onto surrounding surfaces using LED lighting incorporated inside the structures. The projections represent the spirit of celebration among the visitors of the Pedestrian Pathway in Downtown El Paso. The installation is part of the City of El Paso’s commitment to enhancing quality of life by enhancing recreational, cultural and educational environments.
