Fitness-oriented play structure encourages kids to keep moving
Ideal for 5- to 12-year-olds, Intensity play structure challenges, intrigues and exercises youngsters to combat a national rise in childhood obesity. Combines 20 activities to develop physical skills, coordination, strength, balance and endurance. Activities include Nimble Nets, with grids of cable-reinforced rope that work muscles, whether climbing up or down; Extreme Cyclone, by which a child uses his or her own motion to turn spinners and strengthen one’s torso; and Dynamic Discs, whereby shaking ropes and spinning discs develop balance and agility. Overall structure measures 50 by 59 ft. Accepts 88 youngsters at one time. Deckless design places components at ground level, creating unlimited access points.
