National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) has awarded cooperative contracts to four vendors that offer copiers and digital imaging equipment and services. The contracts took effect October 19, 2016. They are available to all NJPA members throughout the U.S. and Canada. Awardees include Sharp Electronics, Xerox Corporation, Konica Minolta and RISO, Inc. NJPA provides cooperative solutions to governmental, educational, and nonprofit entities.

NJPA Contract Administrator Tom Morgan says that with these contracts, NJPA members have access to technology solutions. The members, he says, are now able to choose the best fit for their respective organizations when it comes to equipment, software, accessories and services.

Morgan says: “We’re glad to renew our long-standing relationship with Sharp Electronics and to provide added choices through Xerox Corporation, Konica Minolta, and RISO, Inc.” According to NJPA, the contracts can help streamline the purchasing process for NJPA members.

About the Vendors:
Sharp Electronics
NJPA’s national contract with Sharp Electronics offers members national volume pricing on the complete line of Sharp’s award-winning digital products. The contract includes the benefit of purchasing one or multiple models at National Contract price levels, and features a complete line of equipment accessories and software solutions.

•    Whiteboards
•    National contract pricing
•    Cost per copy (CPC), purchase or lease options are available

Xerox Corporation
Xerox is helping change the way the NJPA serves government, education, and non-profit agencies, according to the company. Through its document technology and document management solutions, it offers NJPA members print and copy devices ranging from single function desktops, to high-end digital presses, flexible managed print services, next-generation software and centralized print services. Xerox contract options are flexible with lease, purchase, and rental offerings at national competitive price levels that are scalable based on the scope of the solution.

Konica Minolta
Konica Minolta operates as a complete solution provider. It offers NJPA members solutions in the areas of multi-function devices, production print products and services, IT services, enterprise content management and document workflow solutions. The firm offers specialty products such as 3D Printers, wide-format and scanner products, managed print services, facilities management, work smart technology and interactive classroom technology. All products and services are offered nationwide by more than 125 direct sales locations and by 350+ Konica Minolta authorized dealers.

RISO, Inc.
RISO, Inc. is a provider of high-speed inkjet printers, digital duplicators and accessories. Its products focus on productivity, cost containment and versatility, according to the company. The firm offers compact, high-volume duplicators and printers that outperform much larger, more complex printing processes, according to the company. The firm’s printers offer fast, affordable cut-sheet inkjet output at speeds of up to 150 PPM. The company’s digital duplicators are 1- and 2-color systems that produce millions of copies, are environmentally friendly, and are easy and inexpensive to use.
