Cab system provides shelter in utility ATV

Curtis Industries is offering a cab system for the Yamaha Viking side x side utility all-terrain vehicle (ATV). See the photo below on the right. The cab features rugged, all-steel panels. The doors are sturdy powder-coated 16-gauge steel. The unit’s windows have dual sliders that provide ventilation. 

The product’s quick-release latch allows ATV users to completely remove the window panel in seconds without tools. Simply turn four thumbscrews to remove the panel. The cab is ideal for open-air driving.

The unit’s doors feature heavy-duty 7-gauge steel hinges to reduce door flex and sag. The doors include gas shocks to assist opening and closing, and to provide additional control when opening doors in windy conditions.

The cab’s venting windshield is made of scratch-resistant polycarbonate. The rear window is made of impact-modified acrylic and is contoured for good visibility. The unit’s venting slider in the rear window allows flow-through ventilation.

The cab uses the existing factory roof that comes standard on most models. The product includes added rubber sealing for weather protection. Dual windshield wipers are standard, providing 3-passenger visibility in any weather.

Also available with the product: optional two-speed under-dash heater and work lights.
