Melbourne, Fla.-based GovBuy, a commerce site tailored to federal, state, and local government entities, has expanded its online product offering through a partnership with San Diego-based Waxie Sanitary Supply.

With the addition of Waxie, a large privately held company in the sanitary and janitorial supplies industry, GovBuy has added more than 10,500 additional janitorial, sanitary, and safety supplies to its site. Incorporating the assortment of janitorial and sanitary supplies will allow registered and approved users to order the full range of Waxie products as well as more than 750,000 additional maintenance, repair and operation parts and supplies. GovBuy users can buy needed supplies with their procurement card online. Most parts and supplies are available with next-day delivery through GovBuy.

According to David Hahn, president of GovBuy, "We are excited about the addition of the full breadth of janitorial, sanitary, and safety product lines that Waxie represents to GovBuy.com. Their product scope coupled with their industry-leading distribution and logistics capability takes GovBuy one step closer to meeting virtually all the needs a government customer may have in supporting their mission, program or facility."

GovBuy is a partnership with industrial manufacturers and suppliers.  The company delivers more than 750,000 stocked parts to qualified federal, state, local and tax-exempt customers. With 24-hour online ordering, GovBuy can meet a variety of procurement needs. Multiple distribution centers support the company’s supply process throughout the country. Most parts and supplies ordered through GovBuy.com are available for next-day delivery at no added freight or handling cost.

GovBuy carries tools, tooling, electrical parts, HVAC support, vehicle parts and accessories, office supplies, MRO and shop supplies, and all the accessories needed to operate a facility. GovBuy provides built-in reconciliation tools, spend tracking, budgeting tools, and customization to make procurement clean and the documentation process easy. With more than $400 million in total inventory on the ground and available immediately, GovBuy can meet a variety of procurement needs.

With its online store, Govbuy.com, the company has launched an E-Commerce solution that targets procurement professionals in federal, state and local government and non-profit organizations. The site features a selection of tools and supplies across multiple product categories, including full-line industrial, office, safety sanitation and janitorial supplies.
