HiRAIL full-depth rubber grade crossing systems are made from scrap tires rescued from landfills. HiRAIL 100 percent rubber pads flex with temperature extremes and repel road chemicals. The interlocking tongue-and-groove modular design seals out moisture and debris without using lag screws. Combined with the flangeway design, which seals watertight under the rail, HiRAIL systems keep track beds dry and waste-free. The diamond-grid surface pattern provides a finished appearance and added traction for increased safety and a smoother, quieter ride over the crossing.
