The National 8400 triplex mower has a low center of gravity that gives the machine control on hills, while a hydrostatic drive helps handle steep slopes. The thin, contoured blade design allows more frequent vertical mowing on berms, bunkers, edging or curbs. A single toggle turns on all three cutting units. Power steering enables handling tight turns and following the contour of a bunker. A Dial-a-Height deck adjustment from ⅝- to 2¼ inches requires no tools and is changed in one step.
