Dialogic Communications Corp. consolidates into PlantCML
Temecula, Calif.-based PlantCML, an EADS North America company, has consolidated its wholly owned subsidiary, Dialogic Communications Corporation (DCC), and its affiliated brands into one brand, that of PlantCML. The move folds DCC’s notification products and services into the company’s security and communications portfolio, comprised of critical call center applications and P25 land mobile radio networks.
Like the patented Reverse 911 emergency notification system provided by PlantCML, DCC’s software applications — The Communicator! NXT, GeoCast Web and NetNotify — are now available through PlantCML’s Notification Solutions and Services (NSS) business unit. So, too, is the interactive voice response system, Frontwave, which is used in commercial call centers.
DCC’s office will remain in Franklin, Tenn., led by Bob Freinberg, vice president and general manager. All NSS product development, technical support, field services and sales efforts will continue to be managed from Franklin, also. “Our customers expect notification solutions and services to make everyday operations easier and more efficient,” Freinberg said. “These same solutions must easily scale to support larger incidents and emergencies. Becoming a fundamental part of the PlantCML master brand will allow us to leverage established market leadership, the global assets of EADS and better deliver on these expectations.”
PlantCML’s notification products and services automate list- and map-based communications procedures. The applications enable immediate, multi-modal notification of target audiences, intelligently mobilizing personnel (e.g., first responders, employees, volunteers, etc.) for emergency response or alerting the public.
