The Charlotte-Douglas, N.C., International Airport has contracted with Alpharetta, Ga.-based MACTEC to engineer the paving of a new parallel runway and taxiways. Gallatin, Tenn., has contracted with the company to update the city’s General Development and Transportation Plan. The North Carolina Department of Natural Resources has contracted with the company to help the state’s municipalities repair potable water distribution systems to minimize water loss during droughts. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has contracted with the company to perform inspections on the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, which is under construction at Ground Zero of the 2001 terrorist attacks on in New York.
Lula, Ga., has contracted with Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services to collect solid waste for city residents.
Ovilla, Texas, has contracted with Dallas-based Community Waste Disposal to provide waste and recycling services for its residents.
The Alameda County, Calif., Public Works Department has contracted with San Diego-based Ninyo & Moore to provide environmental services to the department for three years.
