Roll-down curtains protect windows and doors from hurricane-force winds
Spectra fiber, Honeywell’s ultrahigh-molecular-weight spun polyethylene commonly used in bullet-resistant body armor, enables Storm-A-Rest roll-down curtains to protect windows and doors from high winds and debris produced by hurricanes and other severe storms. Meet or exceed state of Florida’s Wind Zone 4 requirements for winds in excess of 155 mph and for impact from large windborne projectiles. Curtains are noncorrosive, UV-resistant and translucent to allow 76% of daylight through windows and doors. Also repel wind-driven rain. Install easily to wood, brick or concrete surfaces without special tools. Available in more than 350 patterns. John Boyle & Co. Inc., Statesville, N.C.
