Wireless Microphone System Ensures Clear Compliance With New Communications Standard
According to the company, SpectraPulse Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless microphone system represents the first commercial sound implementation of UWB technology, which was recently licensed for commercial use by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. The technology allows wireless transmission of data in short-duration pulses over a wide spectrum of frequencies for reliable transmission of information. SpectraPulse delivers crystal-clear audio, while preventing signal interception by other wireless systems to ensure security of sensitive information. Ideal for conferences, boardroom meetings, or courtrooms. Uses up to 14 simultaneous channels that operate without infringement from radio frequency sources. Components include a microphone transmitter unit, digital receiver module, audio control interface, and charger encryption interface. The microphone transmitter contains a touch-sensitive switch, programmable for push-to-talk, push-to-mute, or toggle operation. Runs on rechargeable battery that offers 9 hrs. of runtime. Digital receiver features an antenna and capability for 14 channels of wireless signals. The audio interface consists of a rack-mounted unit for demultiplexing and processing audio output of up to 7 channels. Encryption interface charges up to 7 microphones and accepts optional software for adding increased security to communications. Audio-Technica U.S., Inc., Stow, OH
