Wireless Gas Detector Monitors Parking Structures
The 301 W wireless gas detector needs no conduit or extra installation materials to create a complete detection system for new and existing parking garages. Configures automatically upon activation to monitor levels of carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide. When unit detects unsafe levels, ventilation system can be activated via relays at multiple levels and at varying speeds, depending on the concentration. Uses self-diagnostics to virtually eliminate false alarms. Detection system uses a proprietary, encrypted wireless mesh network to communicate signals to a 301C controller that can handle up to 50 wireless units and 96 fixed monitoring devices. If communication path fails, system automatically finds an alternative wireless pathway, keeping even obstructed or hard-to-reach areas in contact. Meets both U.S. and Canadian safety standards, UL/CSA 61010-1, and uses the 2.4 GHz ISM wireless band that is available worldwide for license-free use. Honeywell Analytics, Lincolnshire, IL
