To Monitor Tire Pressure, Driver Can Press a Button From Inside the Vehicle
With Model TC-400 Tire Pressure Monitor, drivers of passenger cars no longer have to stop their vehicles to check tire pressure. Tires can be checked at any time, even on the move, by pushing a button on vehicle’s instrument panel. System allows radio-controlled, permanent monitoring of tire pressure and temperature. Consists of 4 sensor valves that mount on tires, as well as electronic control unit. Also includes color display screen, with an adjustable background color to match vehicle’s instrument lighting. Sensors transmit pressure and temperature readings by radio to the central unit, which then forwards this data to cockpit display inside vehicle. In the event of sudden pressure loss, the control unit triggers an optical and audible alarm via the display to alert driver. Also warns of slow loss of pressure and of excess pressure. Add up to 3 sensors to monitor spare tires. Hella, Inc., Peachtree City, GA
