Digital imaging station captures now, measures later
Precision GPT-7000i Digital Imaging Total Station enables an operator to see real-time images of target objects on the onboard computer display, just as viewed through the lens, and use them to guide current field data collection or save them for later analysis. PI 3000 companion software allows measurement of target images with a desktop PC. Touch-screen display and user-oriented graphical interface assist survey functions. Dual-optical pulse laser gives focused-beam accuracy up to 250 m. reflectorless or up to 3,000 m. with prism. Compact flash card slot accepts additional memory or Bluetooth card for wireless communications. Applications include survey analysis of inaccessible buildings, landslides, non-navigable terrain, and where digital image records are required for forensic study.
