Surveillance system replaces security tapes with digital video
CAM SS-XP security and surveillance system uses DVR (Digital Video Recorder) to store and transmit digital images, at resolution of 10 frames/sec., over IP networks for low-cost, real-time recording. Super Motion compression (SMC) technology stores video over LAN, WAN, or Internet with low bandwidth consumption. Security personnel can define areas in cameras viewfinder to detect changes in a scene. Map the facility CAD style into the DVR to watch icons on the map change color as alarms are triggered, or alarm can be sent to remote PC, pager, or phone. Review instant replay from system memory at any location in or out of the facility. Applications include schools, banks, corporate security and surveillance, even non-security functions such as videoconferencing.
