Message sign delivers rapid-response text and graphics
Portable RediAlert R.D.E.S. (Rapid Dispatch Emergency Signs) support information needs of the Department of Homeland Security, law-enforcement agencies, public works managers, Departments of Transportation (DOTs), and other government entities. Can communicate critical information and urge caution in dangerous situations. One person can deploy in less than 3 mins. Illuminated screen (3 by 5 ft.) contains Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that remain visible in any weather condition. Just use keyboard to input 3 lines of programmable text messaging. Also supports multiple input devices, including wireless systems. Screen displays messages in monochrome or amber color, plus rotates for desired viewing angle. Sign meets DOT-specific incident management heights in harsh and windy weather. Also ideal for installing close to roadways, where semi-tractor buffeting can hurl excessive force onto traditional LED brick architecture signs. Runs on 12-v. power source. Self-contained power features include solar panels, battery packs, and adapter to fit into vehicles cigarette lighter. Folds into size of a suitcase for transport. Spring-loaded base securely raises sign to full height. Overall weight is about 39 lbs. Options range from remote-control programming to a port-able jack for stand.
