Select from two walk-behind mowers that let user bag or mulch clippings
HRC Series includes self-propelled 216HXA and push-version 216PDA. Each mower boasts steel, dome-shaped deck that offers bagging or mulching of grass clippings. Delivers 21-in. cutting width. Select from 8 cutting heights, with a maximum height of 4 ins. Thanks to MicroCut twin blades, 4 offset surfaces chop and circulate clippings, delivering a finer cut than traditional mowers. The finer clippings enhance lawn appearance when mulching, expedite decomposition of clippings into soil, conserve space in bag for reduced emptying time, and decrease yard waste. Other features range from height-adjustable handlebars to front bumper tie-down for transport and engine protection. Self-propelled version includes Hydrostatic Cruise Control transmission, which lets operator vary drive speed between 0 and 4 m.p.h. Push model contains overhead cam engine for reduced weight, as well as dual-stage air filter to overcome dusty environments. All of manufacturers mowers meet current emissions standards.
