Solid waste conference calls for papers
Organizers of the annual International Conference on Solid Waste Technology and Management are accepting proposals from government officials and other experts for presentations at the event. The conference is scheduled for March 27-30, 2011, in Philadelphia.
The Journal of Solid Waste Technology, which is published by Widener University School of Engineering and the National Center for Resource Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania in Chester, Pa., sponsors the event. Presentations may cover all areas of solid waste technology and management, such as waste reduction, household hazardous waste, industrial and medical waste, and more.
The submissions may be for oral or poster presentations, and should be no more than 1,000 words long. Authors may submit multiple abstracts, but presentations are limited to two per person. Online submissions are preferred, and all abstracts are due on Oct. 31.
