KIOTI Tractor uses Facebook to communicate with dealers, tractor owners
Wendell, N.C.-based KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong Industrial Co., has launched a Facebook Fan Page to communicate corporate, product and general tractor news to its nationwide dealer network, current owners of KIOTI tractors, potential owners and tractor enthusiasts. The company is seeking to enhance its brand identity through the social networking Web site’s increasing popularity and continued growth across various age groups.
“We developed this page to provide us with an additional avenue to communicate with our dealers, customers and anyone else who may be interested in KIOTI Tractors,” KIOTI Market Development Manager Ron Parrish said in a statement. “It also allows us to gauge input posted by our dealers and customers to make sure we continue to provide them with exemplary customer service and the high-end products they have come to expect from our company.”
KIOTI’s Facebook Fan Page features news releases, marketing polls and surveys, product and corporate videos, photos and discussions among tractor owners and enthusiasts. Fans also can post comments, photos, videos and any other information they would like to share about their KIOTI Tractor or experience dealing with KIOTI. “We want to know what’s being said about KIOTI in the marketplace,” KIOTI National Sales Manager Tony Brown said in a statement. “If we don’t keep tabs on how we’re doing in terms of product quality, support and parts, we’re not doing our job.”
