The Ingersoll Rand C185 portable air compressor produces 185 cubic feet per minute at 100 pounds per square inch. It runs off a 49-horsepower diesel engine and has an eight-hour runtime. The compressor weighs 1,825 pounds and has two service air ports for multi-tool use. The compact unit has an overall width of 66 inches and a height of 58 inches. It features a single-piece lockable canopy. The frame and tow bar go through a three-step paint process for resistance to corrosion and abrasion. The compressor has a cool-box design, in which cool air enters the rear of the compressor and washes over internal components. The unit comes standard with a spin-on remote separator element, which eliminates the need to disassemble the separator tank during routine maintenance and prevents spillage during oil changes. For safety, curbside controls and service valves are positioned to keep operators away from traffic when starting the machine or hooking up tools.
