Compact smart-computing platform
The Phantom is a 64-bit computing platform with more than 1 TFLOP of processing power, up to 16 TB of internal storage and 192 GB of RAM, in a unit that weighs about 50 pounds. The Phantom can operate on a 110-volt, 20-amp circuit that pulls less than 650 watts of power and offers greatly reduced energy consumption. The unit produces about 2,300 BTUs, or less heat output than the average hair dryer. The Phantom is built with the latest COTS and Intel CPU components. It is suited for data center applications, reconnaissance vehicles and for processing intelligence information. The Phantom’s total cost of ownership is roughly 15 times less than a comparable traditional data center configuration, according to the company.
