What’s hot for 2010
Balanced budgets and cost controls, consolidating services, increasing broadband connectivity and reporting the use of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds top the list of policy priorities for state chief information officers (CIO) around the country, according to a survey by the Washington-based National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO).
Virtualization, networking, document management and cloud computing were the top technological priorities in NASCIO’s “Top Ten Policy and Technology Priorities for State CIOs,” which is available at www.nascio.org/publications.
