Atlanta-based Heery International’s Denver office designed the courthouse and lobby addition, which includes 12 new courtrooms and 10 alternative dispute resolution conference rooms all equipped with the latest courtroom technology, acoustics and integrated audio-visual systems. The expansion also includes a new 500-seat jury room with landscaped outdoor garden, additional clerks’ offices and public walk-up counters.
The steel, precast concrete and glass building features exterior solar fins and high-performance glass to shade interior spaces and reduce energy use.
