WERF seeks volunteers for research
The Alexandria, Va.-based Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) is asking for volunteers from wastewater and stormwater utilities, academia, equipment manufacturers and consulting sectors to serve on a research council, scheduled to begin in January 2009.
The Alexandria, Va.-based Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) is asking for volunteers from wastewater and stormwater utilities, academia, equipment manufacturers and consulting sectors to serve on a research council, scheduled to begin in January 2009. The six-member council will help direct WERF’s wastewater, stormwater and other water quality-related research, and to recommend funding levels for the research.
Council members may serve up to two, three-year terms. WERF will cover travel expenses for the twice-yearly council meetings and council-related activities.
