Rain Bird calls for entries in second annual Intelligent Use of Water Film Competition
Azusa, Calif.-based irrigation products manufacturer Rain Bird is calling for entries into its second annual Intelligent Use of Water Film Competition. The competition is open to individuals and organizations that produce short films on the need for water conservation, and Sept. 1 is the entry deadline.
Narrative, documentary, animated, experimental and/or student films between 1 to 10 minutes in length may be submitted and should explore methods and ideas for water use management. A panel of film and water management experts will judge the films, and finalists will be invited to a screening on Oct. 11 at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden. Prizes include a $6,000 Jury Award and a $3,000 Audience Choice Award.
