Zaxis 200LC-3 boasts maximum digging depth of almost 22 ft., digging reach of about 32.5 ft. and dumping height of approximately 23.5 ft. Lifting capacity is 20,308 lbs. Redesigned machine boasts four-cylinder, Tier-3-certified engine, said to be stronger, faster and quieter than its six-cylinder predecessor. Also saves up to 13% in fuel consumption over previous model. Enhanced features include stronger undercarriage, along with more horsepower, swing torque and drawbar pull. Operator-friendly, spacious cab offers wide seatback, more legroom and 47% more glass on right-hand side for improved visibility. Fingertip levers reduce operator fatigue. Multilingual, widescreen LCD color monitor provides operating instructions as well as information about attachments and required maintenance. Engine works in unison with hydraulic flow to deliver fast, smooth and precise operations, even for multifunctional tasks. Options include auxiliary hydraulic accessories, several arm and shoe sizes, extra-long fronts, control-pattern change valve and air-suspension heated seat. Another model, Zaxis ZX225USLC-3, has a heavier operating weight and shorter swing radius than 200LC-3 for enhanced stability. Hitachi Construction Products, Moline, Ill.
