Uninterruptible power supply protects military systems
Double-conversion, online FN Series UPS Plus family of parallel or N+1 redundant uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) improves reliability of military applications by protecting sensitive equipment against blackouts, brownouts, surges, glitches and transients. Boast faster processors utilizing digital signal processsing (DSP) technology. All models support hardwire connection to any 208- to 240-volt ac, single-phase, two-wire plus ground power source. Standalone units may be connected in parallel for scalable solutions from 3kVA up to 24kVA. Units communicate via a proprietary high-speed serial bus. Batteries are user-replaceable in hot-swappable packs located behind the front panel. Extended battery packs and chargers are available as an option. Power Factor Correction circuitry reduces harmonics that can adversely affect sensitive computers and electronic equipment. Management software supports Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, Server, XP and Vista, plus Novell NetWare 5 and 6, LINUX and FreeBSD.
