Department of Homeland Security awards $20 million contract for immigration records services
The approximately $20.5 million contract has a six-month base period with four one-year option periods and will provide mission-critical outsourcing, including IT skills and expertise, to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
USICE Office of Detention and Removal Operations’ mission is to ensure the departure of all removable aliens from the United States. A key record’s function of this activity is the review, update and disposition of bonds associated with these aliens.
This past month, SI International received a $225 million contract supporting DHS U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ (USCIS) Service Center Operations in Nebraska and Texas. The company also supports USCIS Office of Records services with the tracking and accounting of more than 62 million immigration files.
