Looking for ways to boost curbside recycling participation? An online and CD-ROM toolkit designed by the Arlington, Va.-based Curbside Value Partnership, a national program funded by members of the Washington-based Aluminum Association and the Washington-based Can Manufacturer’s Institute, pulls together success strategies that have been tested in communities across the country. Best practices for educating residents about recycling programs, research findings and tips for using public relations, branding, social marketing techniques and the Web all are covered in the toolkit, which is available at www.RecycleCurbside.com. An on-demand audio Webinar on the toolkit will be available next month.
