Klotz Associates — Robert Johnson has joined the Houston-based consulting engineering firm as vice president for the Public Works Practice. Previously, he was vice president for Denver-based CH2M Hill.
MACTEC — Dennis Brownley, a program manager for the Alpharetta, Ga.-based company, has been named vice president. Also, Dennis Cook, who previously was an assistant chief engineer for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, has joined the company as vice president.
Blastrac — Stephen Klugherz, vice president for sales for the Oklahoma City-based manufacturer of surface preparation products, has been named vice president for strategic business development.
CapitalSource — Former Indianapolis Mayor and chief domestic policy advisor to President Bush Stephen Goldsmith has joined the Chevy Chase, Md.-based financing company as director of its newly created Infrastructure Finance and Investment Group.
Palm Beach County, Fla., Solid Waste Authority — Mark Hammond, managing director for the authority, has been named executive director.
Southwest Water Co. — Mark Minter has joined the Los Angeles-based company’s Southwest Water Services Group as vice president for the southeast region. Previously, he was senior manager of water and wastewater operations in the Houston area for Fort Washington, Pa.-based Severn Trent Environmental Services.
BridgeWave — Bob Stone has joined the Santa Clara, Calif.-based wireless network installer as vice president for strategic initiatives, a newly created position. Previously, he was head of wireless business development for Monroe, La.-based CenturyTel.
Public Risk Management Association — Sarah Perry, risk manager for Columbia, Mo., has been voted president-elect of the Alexandria, Va.-based association, and will begin her term in June 2008.
