ICMA to hold discussion on locals’ role in health care
Washington-based International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Executive Director Bob O’Neill will host a teleconference on how city and county managers should address the rising cost of healthcare benefits. Topics will include ways managers can lower health insurance premiums while making employees healthier.
The teleconference is scheduled for April 9 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. EST. Ft. Collins, Colo., City Manager Darin Atteberry and Tacoma, Wash., City Manager Eric Anderson, both members of ICMA’s Health Advisory Committee, will co-host the free discussion. Participants can join the discussion during the Q&A session.
