Base accepts pool water or sand for adding stability, plus provides storage area for 2 basketballs (included). Both backboard and base consist of molded polyethylene, which resists chlorinated water, sunlight, harsh weather, and rough play. Also comes with regulation-sized metal rim, net, and rim hardware. Installation requires no metal screws, nuts, washers, or aluminum supports. Two people can assemble in a few mins. Game can be stationed year-round at poolside, or stored seasonally.
