Topcon

The RE-S1 is a spread spectrum GPS radio extension system that is manufactured to increase the operating range for the company’s GR-3 receiving system and other compatible systems. The system can be used as a stand-alone repeater and as a transmit/receive radio. Obstructions — such as structures, foliage or terrain — do not affect the unit when it is used as a repeater.

Data backup system

STORServer

The line of K6000 appliances is designed for backup, archiving and disaster recovery, and combine disk-to-disk and disk-to-tape configurations. The line offers up to 10 terabytes of disk space to store backups from a variety of operating system platforms and features 300 to 6,085 tape slot capacities. Using the units’ built-in software, data is sent to a tape to automatically create disaster recovery copies. In addition, the unit captures 500 gigabytes to 4 terabytes of changes each day, and at least 45 days of backups and archives can be stored online.

Incident management system

Azure Wireless

SafeScene is a Java-based, Microsoft Windows compatible system that can automatically detect the presence of emergency personnel at an incident scene, log available first responders and equipment, and assign tasks and monitor personnel use. The system features customizable interfaces and produces time-stamped incident reports. It can be used with third-party incident command management systems.

Multiquip

The MTX-Series, which includes the MTX-70, MTX-80 and MTX-90, are manufactured to compact cohesive and mixed soils, and also can be used in trench work, around retaining walls, to solidify bases for concrete slabs and footings, and confined areas. The units are equipped with an anti-vibration system that is designed to reduce injury caused by operator fatigue. The line offers an impact force of up to 3,500 lbs., and can travel up to 36′ in one minute. Additional features include recoil start and diaphragm carburetors so the engine will not flood during transport. Each model has an 11.2″ ” 13.4″ shoe width.

Lance/foot controls

NLB

The NCG15-286 lance features a one-finger latch to prevent accidental actuation. Weighing 12 lbs., the lance requires a light pull on the trigger to start, while a forward push dumps the pressure. It also features an adjustable shoulder stock and hand grip. The FC15-286 foot control valve can handle 25 gallons per minute and features a pedal design that can force the valve into dump mode. The wetted parts are constructed of stainless steel, and the enclosure can be used as a carrying case. Both units are manufactured for a variety of uses, including surface preparation, paint removal, tank and tube cleaning, concrete hydrodemolition, and concrete and pipe cutting, and feature a quick-change cartridge valve and can operate at pressures up to 15,000 lbs. per sq. in.

Aerosol can crusher

The Super 200 processes aerosol cans of varying sizes and content. It features a blower that pulls propellants and volatile organic compounds away from the crushing chamber. Featuring an explosion-proof piercing and crushing system, cans are crushed to ½” thickness while content is emptied. A carbon filtration system is optional.

Kubota

Weighing 8 tons, the KX080-3 is manufactured for use in environments with limited space. Featuring a direct-injection engine, the unit has a bucket force of 14,660 lbs., and an arm crowd force of 8,554 lbs. The auto-idling system adjusts engine RPM to reduce noise and emissions, and the load-sensing hydraulic system allows users to perform multiple operations without losing speed. With a 14.17″ rear overhang, the unit handles a wider range of loads. It also includes an extended dumping height, digging-depth range, swing boom, and a larger bucket and dozer blade capacity. An LCD control panel in the enclosed cab provides diagnostic readings and maintenance alerts. The cab also includes an overload alarm that will notify the user before load capacity is exceeded.

Kim Lighting

The MiniBounce is designed for pole or surface mounting and can be used in a variety of cityscape, municipal and institutional environments. It is manufactured with ribbed, die-cast aluminum that releases heat. The top hood, which reflects light downward, is hinged for lamp access, cleaning and relamping. The unit’s sealed and gasketed optical chamber eliminates contamination. The fixture includes pulse-start metal halide, standard metal halide, high-pressure sodium and triple-tube compact fluorescent lamp options. An optional black ballast cover and full cutoff light distribution can be used in areas with light pollution concerns. Five standard polyester powder-coat finishes and custom colors are available.

LED Lamps

The LT20 indicator lights, LR20 and LR30 reflector lamps and miniature LT605 lamps are manufactured for a variety of commercial and industrial applications, including navigation, bridges and waterways, manufacturing lines, and high-vibration areas, such as train crossings. The lamps have a rated life of 25,000 to 50,000 hours and are available in wattages ranging from one-half watts to six watts. The line also includes the Festive LED lamps for decorative applications. The LG16, LG25, LG40 are available in a variety of colors, including red, blue, green, white, amber and incandescent Tivoli. The lamps can last up to 50,000 hours.

Contract Analyst, version 2.0, is a contracts management system that tracks a variety of information, including received proposals, vendors, clients, contract status, and budgeting and payments. The system is available in four versions, including the Desktop Version with a self-contained database for a single user and the Enterprise Version, for multiple users on a network. The versions also are available in “Plus” formats that include a built-in report writer to create reports on any data in the system. Additional features include the E-Bid program, which allows vendors to submit bids electronically, and the Tickler Window to alert users of important dates.

Scale

Alliance Scale

The above-ground truck scale is manufactured with a 3/16″ plate and 12″ H beams. An automated scale controller performs all functions — including weighing, invoicing and account management — and prompts the user through the weighing process. The scale incorporates up to 12 load cells and allows the user to set parameters for load weight validation. The unit also monitors all load cells and can offset poor load distribution and faulty cells. The scale is available in 10′ to 117′ lengths and 10′ to 14′ widths.
