Republican presidential hopefuls Sens. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.; John McCain, R-Ariz.; and Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., will speak at the Washington-based National Association of Counties (NACo) Legislative Conference on March 6. The conference will be from March 3 to 7 at Hilton Washington & Towers in Washington.
On March 5, Secretary of Transportation Mary Peters will be the featured speaker, and political analyst Charlie Cook also will attend the conference. On March 6, a panel presentation, “Ceasefire on Health Care,” will be held to discuss incremental, market-based solutions to the nation’s healthcare crisis.
