Dark of night will no longer keep Boulder, Colo.’s parking enforcement officers from making their rounds. The city is changing an old policy that sent parking officers home at 5 p.m. after daylight-saving time ends, one hour before the meters stop running, according to the Daily Camera. Officers will stay until 6 p.m. now and, maybe, will be required to stay until 7 or 8 p.m. if the city council decides next month to keep the meters running later so restaurant patrons will have to pay.
