The Alexandria, Va.-based Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) has published a new book, “Small-Scale Constructed Wetland Treatment Systems: Feasibility, Design Criteria and O&M Requirements,” by Scott Wallace, senior vice president for White Bear Lake, Minn.-based North American Wetland Engineering. The book includes sizing criteria for the two most common types of small wetlands: free water surface wetlands and vegetated submerged bed wetlands. Currently available only to WERF subscribers at www.werf.org, the guide will be widely available for purchase in late fall at www.iwapublishing.com.
