North Springfield, Vt.-based Dufresne-Henry has received an Honor Award from the Boston Society of Landscape Architects for its redesign of the Mission Hill Playground in Boston, which added handicapped-accessible equipment, seating areas and a spray pool.

Chaska, Minn., has contracted with New York-based Siemens to support and monitor the city’s wireless network. The company also is monitoring the city’s mesh wireless system and back-end network infrastructure.
The Ohio Multi-Agency Radio Communications System has contracted with Bethlehem, Pa.-based Padcom to provide software for a state-wide deployment of a converged communications network.
The Sherburne County, Minn., Public Works Department has contracted with Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Sanborn to provide digital orthophotography and base map updates.

The Lake County, Ill., Sheriff’s Office has contracted with Castle Hayne, N.C.-based VisionAIR, a public safety and criminal justice software company, to implement products from its public safety suite, including a law enforcement records management system, inmate management system and field base reporting.
The Mississippi Office of Homeland Security has contracted with Diamondhead, Miss.-based Global Security Systems to construct a statewide emergency alert network. The system will allow clients to send text messages to emergency responders using FM radio signals.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has contracted with Lowell, Mass.-based M/A-COM, a radio communications systems company, to provide voice and data communications for law enforcement personnel. The system will connect officers internally and with surrounding agencies.
