On Wednesday, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority finished installing new gates and vending machines that dispense multiple-use cards instead of coins in one of its rail stations.
On Wednesday, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority finished installing new gates and vending machines that dispense multiple-use cards instead of coins in one of its rail stations. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the authority plans to extend the upgrades to the remaining stations as part of a $190 million project that also includes reconstructing 48 miles of track and refurbishing old train cars.
