New Mexico has reached an agreement with Virgin Galactic to build a $225 million spaceport near Truth or Consequences that would send tourists into space.
New Mexico has reached an agreement with Virgin Galactic to build a $225 million spaceport near Truth or Consequences that would send tourists into space. According to an Associated Press story in the Albuquerque Journal, Virgin will have a 20-year lease on the facility, with annual payments of $1 million for the first five years and rising payments the following years to cover project costs.
