In January, Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich Jr. plans to introduce legislation that would suspend for at least three years the license of anyone under 21 convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol for drugs. According to the Washington Post, earlier this year, the House and Senate passed versions of Ehrlich’s bill but were unable to reach a compromise regarding the length of the suspension.
