The Westchester County, N.Y., county executive has proposed legislation that would require businesses offering Wi-Fi to install a firewall to protect users’ private information. According to the National Association of Counties, a team from the county’s IT department found that of 248 wireless hotspots surveyed, nearly half lacked visible security. NACo
