Rotary hammers target concrete drilling, demolition
Bosch 1-in., SDS-plus Bulldog Xtreme rotary hammers attack construction jobs with heavy-duty, 7.2-amp. motors. Hit with 2.2 ft./lbs. impact at 0-5,800 b.p.m., and drill at 0-1,300 r.p.m. Offer optimal drilling range in concrete of 3/16 in. to 5/8 in. with 1-in. bit capacity and thin-wall-core capacity of 25/8 ins. Piston, striker, impact bolt, and guide tube feature tight tolerances to remain concentric. Reinforced gearing and additional gear teeth increase tool life and load-carrying capacity. Also feature rotating brush plate for equal power in forward and reverse, integral clutch that minimizes torque reaction, and 3-mode selector for rotary hammer, hammer only, or rotation only. Include soft-grip trigger handle, 360 auxiliary handle with built-in quick-release depth gauge, and variable speed trigger. Models 11255VSR D-Handle and 11253VSR Pistol Grip come with carrying cases. Purchase S4 carbide bits separately.
