One suit challenges the constitutionality of the law’s parental consent language, while another takes issue with a provision requiring abortion doctors to have privileges at nearby hospitals. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, some Planned Parenthood offices are no longer mentioning abortion options in Illinois, and a Springfield clinic has ceased abortion procedures.
