The California Legislature has passed two bills that will limit the sale of junk food -- including Doritos, Twinkies and Snickers -- and sodas in schools during school hours.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Grocery Manufacturers of America lobbied heavily against the bill, arguing that a lack of exercise also is a main culprit of childhood obesity.
