Use Ditch Witch FX60 to clean out manholes, catch basins, conduit, pipe, vehicle wash pits, or grease traps. Also ideal for uncovering pipe joints, removing drilling fluids that escape from bore holes, digging potholes to locate buried utilities, and other underground jobs requiring a small, neat hole. Unlike mechanical excavating equipment, machine boasts soft excavation that wont damage pipe and cable. Comes in trailer- or skid-mounted versions. Each model applies up to 3,500 p.s.i. of water to displace soil for excavation. Two water tanks boast total capacity of 500 gals., while debris tank holds 1,200 gals. Equipped with 100 ft. of high-pressure water hose and 100 ft. of 4-in.-dia. suction hose. Emits only 82 db. of sound while operating, thereby permitting use in noise-sensitive residential areas and business districts. Runs on 56-hp. diesel engine. Belt-driven blower develops maximum airflow of 900 c.f.m. at 16 ins. of mercury, assuring a powerful vacuum force. Curb-side operator station contains controls. Auxiliary, hydraulic source powers a variety of tools and attachments. Standard tools include hoses with quick couplers, suction and pothole-repair tools, wash wand, and lockable hose reels.
