A bus plan that would have eliminated 24-hour bus service in Detroit as a way to fix an ailing budget has been scrapped.
A bus plan that would have eliminated 24-hour bus service in Detroit as a way to fix an ailing budget has been scrapped. According to the Detroit Free Press, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick caved into public pressure on the issue of overnight bus service, however, seven other routes are expected to be taken out of service.
