In an effort to fight the manufacture of methamphetamine, Summit County, Ohio, is looking at proposed legislation that would take cold remedies with pseudoephedrine off the counter. According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the proposal is in response to a rising methamphetamine problem in the county. Currently police respond to a methamphetamine site call every 2.3 days.
