The race for the top Washington job — mayor — began this week with a breakfast of 500 D.C. business and community leaders. According to the Washington Post, the $20,000 breakfast was hosted by D.C. Council member Vincent Orange Sr. who is considered a credible contender in the 2006 election. Washington Post
