The Greenville, S.C., City Council is reviewing a $7.5 million parks and recreation package. According to the WYFF TheCarolinaChannel.com, Councilwoman Phyllis Henderson proposes to spend $4 million in surplus funds to build eight new parks throughout the county and the remaining $3.5 million from accommodations taxes to build a 42-acre soccer complex and a five-field Little League basketball complex.
