Washington, D.C.-based National League of Cities (NLC) has released a report entitled “Trends, Policies and Economic Conditions Affecting Poverty in America’s Cities and Towns,” which looks at factors that add to the growing inequalities in America today. The report is intended to promote discussion and help municipal officials understand the growing threat of poverty and the challenges that face their communities. NLC is seeking reactions, local examples and stories related to the materials from local leaders.
